Why Online Writers Should Use Multiple Platforms

Writing on just one platform online is a disaster.

It’s like working for one company and expecting to stay “safe.”

I love writing on Medium, and I plan to continue. But going forward, it want it to be just one part of my content creation plan. Since you never know when a platform will change or how it will impact you, I don’t want to rely on one platform going forward. I suggest you don’t either.

Medium is a great place to write (usually), but it’s not the only player in the game. Other platforms like X, Quora, and LinkedIn give writers and creators many more opportunities to get eyes on their work. That’s why I’m going full force on LinkedIn this year.

LinkedIn has been around almost as long as Facebook. But for years, it was mostly a place to post your resume online and look for jobs or freelance work.

It’s still all of those things. But as the digital economy shifts, so has the way users interact with LinkedIn.
