Why I’ll (Eventually) Leave Medium

Never let a good thing hold you back

You’ve probably gotten the feeling before.

When you have something good, but you know that one day you’ll outgrow it.

It’s easy to say goodbye to something you hate. It’s much more difficult when you’re saying goodbye to something you like, but that’s impeding your growth.

This isn’t a Medium bashing post.

It’s just an opportunity to talk about growth — both mine and (hopefully) yours.

Medium is a great place to get started as a writer. Heck, you can even get paid to write! There’s literally nowhere else on the internet like it.

But you can only go so far.

See, I’m ready to take my writing to the next level. I want to build a freedom business that provides for both mine and my family’s needs.

And while I love Medium, I won’t be able to stay here forever if I’m going to reach my potential.

Let me explain.
