This is the ‘Strategy’ I used to Get My First 100 Medium Followers
Then 500 followers, then 1000, and on and on.
It’s not like I planned it.
What I mean is, I’m not going to pretend I sat down and created a comprehensive strategy when I first started writing on Medium in 2020.
I could make it look that way, but it’d be dishonest. I think what I did was better.
I know you want someone to tell you how to grow fast on this platform. I know because I wanted (and honestly still want) the same thing. Now that Medium has started its 100 follower requirement for being part of the Medium Partner Program, you need to figure out how to get your writing in front of an audience. I can help you, but I can’t give you a magic formula.
If you’re looking for a shortcut or a hack, writing on Medium probably isn’t for you.
Looking back at the things I did when I was starting out, I can pinpoint a few key actions I took that — when combined and applied — create a strategy for growth. I do not guarantee you will find followers. Medium is ever-changing and you must remain a student of the platform to find success here.
