Everyone loves getting lost in a good story.

Whether it’s Harry Potter’s adventures, Atticus Finch’s unwavering moral compass, or Jane Eyre’s resilience, stories shape us. They open doors to understanding and empathy.

Stories spotlight what it means to be human. They help us walk in someone else’s shoes, even if just for a chapter or two. They build bridges between cultures, allow us to explore the raw edges of human emotion.

Stories teach us to be better humans.

Muriel Rukeyser said, “The universe is made of stories, not of atoms.” And while not literally true, you can find a story in everything if you look hard enough.

It’s not only the tales that win Pulitzer Prizes or top the bestseller lists that shape us. Although those are just the ones we notice the most. Any story we connect with seeps into your life and shapes how you interact with the world.

Every story, big or small, shared across a campfire or a coffee table, has the potential to make us better. All the great storytellers know this secret.
