It started as an accident. While working on a radar set, engineer Percy Spencer discovered a high-powered microwave beam could heat food. The microwave beams melted a chocolate bar in his pocket and forever changed the course of world history.
If you have a microwave oven, you probably use it so often you don’t think about it. I know I do. But this universal appliance has taken humanity down a dark road toward destruction and ushered in the age of convenience, turning us into monsters.
The microwave makes everyone angry
“I’ve been waiting in this line for thirty minutes, what’s taking so long?”
