Most people don’t realize they’re disposable until it’s too late.

The boss calls you into the office — where he’s sitting with an HR rep — and says: “I’m sorry, revenue is down and we’re cutting your position. We’ve got to let you go.”

Years ago, if you had a job with a good company, you could count on them to take care of you for as long as you worked for them.

Times have changed.

It’s not that companies have gotten greedier — they’ve always existed to make money. But the competition is so fierce, and the expenses of keeping an employee are so high, companies can let you go for any reason.

Smart employees work to create an income online. But let’s face it, the prospect of starting a business on your own is daunting.

  • Do you have to your current job to start a business?
  • How do you get the capital?
  • Who should you hire first?

The truth this, you don’t need any of that. It’s never been easier in history to start a profitable business.
