I’m almost a year in now and I’m trying to see patters in my data to see what readers respond to. You drove that point very well in your book which I appreciate!

That said, since I’m writing almost exclusively on this platform it seems to me that editing is essential. If I don’t edit, I can’t get accepted into publications. If I self-publish, I hardly get any views so I have less data. As a newbie, editing is one of the most valuable things I’ve done — though I don’t spend too much time obsessing over it.

Perhaps I’m missing what you’re saying? Thanks for posting this.
