I heard a powerful quote recently: “Expect everything, attach to nothing.”

When you ned something to turn out a certain way you get desperate. Sometimes desperation pays off, but usually only in the short term. You don’t want to live in that state. Thanks for writing this, it’s helped me clarify some thoughts.
