Changing Your Life is Hard
But that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with what you have.
Are there things in your life you want to change?
Have you ever spent hours reading self-help articles online that make it seem easy?
Does it ever feel like changing your life is impossible?
I get it. You’ve tried to make big changes in your life. Every January 1, birthday, or random Monday, you tell yourself you’re going to really do it this time. You read an article, listen to a podcast, or buy a course to help you make the change. But you’ll be lucky if you even finish it.
The gurus make it sound so easy, don’t they? Just follow my 17 steps and in a few short days/weeks/months your life will be different. But it isn’t.
You feel like something must be wrong with you because no matter how hard you try, the changes you make don’t stick. You’re sick and tired of the lies.
Making changes to your life is hard because it requires you to change your story.
I’m talking about the story you tell yourself about yourself. It’s the way you see the world, the way you think about yourself, and your identity. These stories are often etched deeply in your subconscious. You act them out in your life without even thinking about or realizing it.
