1. I’m not enough
The author and hypnotherapist Marissa Peer says believing you’re not enough is the root of our tendency to self-sabotage. When you think there’s something wrong with you–you aren’t smart enough, pretty enough etc.–it’s natural to turn to addictions, overeating, and negative mental loops.
To overcome this limiting belief, Peer suggests incorporating these three words into your thinking: “I am enough.”
